ARE YOU READY TO FLY?🦋

Every year in January we hold our "What is Your Word this Year?"contest. Words are powerful and that is why we hand engrave them on our charms with the idea that if you speak it, write it, believe it, then you will manifest it in your life.  At the very least, it gets you to reflect on the past year and focus on something meaningful to you in the new year.  This is my favorite contest because I am always so impressed by how honest and authentic people are in choosing their words and why they chose them.  My word for 2024 is BUTTERFLY! This is a very different type of word for me because it's a thing, an insect. I usually choose words that are verbs or adjectives, something that I want in my life.  This year after much internal transformation I am choosing a word that embodies what I am, the butterfly.  

This past year was filled with huge joy and some hard times.  Finally at the end of the year I started changing my perspective around things in my life like my business, money, health, etc. I started to see how things that I thought were difficult were really gifts and opportunities. I worked on getting out of my head and into my heart.  My ego is such a bully and I'm sick of her!

As the Mobius collection launched in the fall and I shared it with all of you, I realized the perspective shift I was talking about for the collection was really what I had been trying to do for myself all year and hadn't realized it.

Let's just say December was a big aha moment for me. At the beginning of the month I started to let fear and ego creep back in. Literal butterflies showed up everywhere for me. As I was saving one from our workshop courtyard whose wings hadn't fully developed, my husband pointed to 20 different chrysalises hanging in our courtyard.  Red and black caterpillars I had never seen before and black swallowtail butterflies.  I believe they were there to remind me that once you transform from a caterpillar to a butterfly, you can't go back.  I'm choosing to not fall back into my old patterns anymore.  I am going to fly and check out life from the perspective of the butterfly, high in the sky and not as the caterpillar on the leaf anymore.
